There is no exact address to navigate to for accessing the Land, and the road in is not accessible to all vehicles. Use GPS to get you to Graves Cemetery, but be sure GPS follows these directions to get you there (as written in Chapters 2 and 3). We have typed them out to make sure GPS does not take you on one of the impassable 4th class roads. From Graves Cemetery, text us and we will help you park in one of two locations: the Tamarack Rest Stop for SUVs and crossovers with at least 7” of clearance (instructions in Chapter 4) or on a neighbor's kindly loaned out field for all other cars (instructions in Chapter 5). We will shuttle you and your gear the rest of the way in. We HIGHLY suggest arriving BEFORE DARK to make finding parking and setting up your campsite easier.
IMPORTANT - if you don’t use these specific directions, you risk being routed up a road that washed out last summer and is not safe for driving in any vehicle, even with a 4x4 vehicle. Driving up it could get you very, very stuck, and or really damage your car. Ask Toby. You have been warned.

This Chapter will follow your GPS directions. From 93N, take exit 44 in New Hampshire right after you pass Moore Reservoir. When you exit please text Chase (617-894-9189) so we know you are close. If you don’t get a response immediately, please text the other hosts to coordinate your ride (Sorry reception is spotty here).
From the 93N exit, turn left onto 135. Drive north on 135 to where it splits.
Take the right split onto 18 and cross into Vermont from New Hampshire. Go for about 1/2 mile to Shadow Lake Road. Turn right onto Shadow Lake Road at the sign for "trail rides". Continue on Shadow Lake Road for about 5 miles.
GPS will get you this far but make sure you are following these directions from here. GPS should direct you on this route as well, but it does not always act predictably.
Continue on Shadow Lake Road for about 5 miles past the most beautiful farm at a 4 way stop-sign and into forested hills. At this point, you are driving around to the north side of our hill. Do not turn onto Grist Mill Pit Rd to come from the South. Do NOT turn onto Mitchell Road or Stagecoach Road to come over the top of the hill. GPS will either suggest these routes or give them as options. THEY ARE NOT OPTIONS!
